Meet the team…
Jonny, head honcho and digital orator
Having worked in business management (including retail) for over 15 years, Jonny Ross understands the needs of business owners. He has a proven track record in SEO, social media, website design and website development, including experience of successfully unlocking Google penalties.
In his spare time, Jonny enjoys spending time with his family, cooking and hosting dinner parties. He has interviewed Jimmy Corkhill from Brookside, and appeared on the Wide Awake Club with Timmy Mallett.
Jonny is a member of the Institute of Directors (IoD), a Member of the Chartered Management Institute and is also a qualified optician.
Helen, creative operations ring leader and head word wrangler
Helen is CIM-qualified strategic marketer and our in-house ‘whizz with words’. She has over a decade of experience working both in-house and as a consultant with clients spanning the public, private and third sectors – particularly companies undergoing organisational change. Her broad marketing knowledge and commercial expertise means she can look at all aspects of a client’s business and make recommendations based on what will deliver the most value.
Helen works alongside Jonny on business planning and marketing strategy; heads up the creative team and works with our accounts team to deliver exceptional service for our clients.
Always relishing a challenge, Helen has bungee jumped and hitch-hiked from Leeds to Morocco for charity. She loves adventure travelling, having trekked solo round Thailand and Cambodia, stayed with the Karen tribe deep in the jungle of Northern Thailand, and been rainforest trekking in the Brazilian Amazon.
Emma, our clients’ best friend
Digital account manager Emma looks after client accounts, developing and delivering digital campaigns, including client and industry research, and campaign analysis.
As their main point of contact, Emma loves getting to know all our clients, delivering exceptional service and making them smile. Our clients instantly love Emma – she is great at quickly building rappor and making people laugh. But don’t be fooled, she takes a hardline approach to campaign delivery and gets things done too – on time, on budget, and always with a focus on getting the best possible ROI for our clients.
Andy, development guru
Andy heads up our development team and leads on digital innovation across all web projects for our clients. As lead developer, he manages our other developers and ensures consistency in excellence across all our web projects.
Prior to joining jrc.agency, Andy managed his own web design business following his completion of the well-respected FdA Web Design Course at the University Centre, Wakefield College.
Andy also used to run a bakery business with his wife. The team are now happy to be chief tasters for his wife’s prolific baking habit, and we are very lucky to have a steady supply of cake in the office as a result!
Daniel, content crafter and social media sorcerer
Daniel creates sparkling content for our clients’ websites, blogs, social media and email campaigns. He loves writing about anything and everything, experimenting with creative flair and keeping a keen eye on content analytics.
Bringing B2B, PPC, SEO and social experience, Daniel has worked in-house as a digital marketing executive for a telecommunications provider and has completed an apprenticeship in digital marketing. A regular blogger, he has published articles on the likes of LinkedIn and BQ Live.
Daniel is an avid amateur photographer, particularly travel and events photography. He also combines a keen interest in video content production and editing with a love of music, producing and publishing music videos on an established YouTube channel. In his spare time, you’ll find him cheering on Arsenal from the terraces, or more often the sofa!
Caroline, ambassador of buzz
Bringing her strategic comms and storytelling expertise to the jrc.agency team, Caroline develops blogger outreach and link building strategy and campaigns for our clients. Overseeing research and building journalist and blogger relationships, Caroline is adept at securing high quality links for SEO campaigns that help our clients reach new markets and generate new business opportunities.
Her online PR and blogger engagement experience spans consumer and business to business blogs within the property, e-commerce, office design, vocational training and apprenticeships, bridal and fitness sectors.
Gabs, words whizz
Gabs has been working with jrc.agency since early 2014. She produces top-notch content, tailored for our clients’ specific requirements and objectives.
With her years of copywriting and content creation experience, Gabs is a key player in helping us deliver campaigns that fulfil and exceed client expectations.
When she’s not typing fervently at her keyboard, Gabs enjoys spending time in Spain, walking in the Peak District, fell running and watching indie bands and live gigs.
Tina, random thoughts and erratic activity organiser
Tina’s background is in working with international corporates on customer experience design and implementation. More recently she has been working as a consultant adapting large scale corporate marketing principles and techniques to benefit smaller businesses.
Tina ensures all our business processes are streamlined to make sure we’re efficient and effective at delivering the best possible experience for our clients and great value, innovative campaigns.
In her secondary role as as chief whip cracker, Tina also makes sure things happen internally when we’re all busy focusing on client work!
Gary, customer behaviour alchemist
With a background spanning corporates to micro-businesses, manufacturing to digital tech, Gary brings many years of experience in business development, account management and personal development. As a self-confessed customer service geek and with a toolkit of behavioural psychology, profiling and structured sales methodology Gary is helping us better understand our clients business and achieve our goal of being the digital marketing agency of choice.
Understanding people and making them happy is what Gary does best so if a project requires some profiling wizardry to get results, Gary is your man!
When he’s not emulating Derren Brown in the office, you’ll find him at Parkrun or on his bike navigating the famous Yorkshire hills and dales.
